Founded in 1980, the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) is dedicated to preserving and presenting the history, heritage, culture and diverse experiences of people of Chinese descent in the United States. In 2009, the museum moved to its current location at 215 Centre Street, a greatly expanded location. MOCA curates and displays its expanded collections, presents exhibits and multimedia productions and hosts festivals, workshops, conferences and resources on Chinese American history. The museum also hosts the Chinese Cinema Club. On Saturdays and Sundays, join them for a Weekend Gallery Talk tour (free with admission).
